Providing Bank Access

To support your bookkeeping accurately and efficiently, we recommend setting up our access to your internet banking. This allows us to:

  • Download bank statements
  • Review transaction history
  • Upload payment files (if applicable)

All banking access is set up securely and used solely for bookkeeping purposes.

While not a requirement, this access helps us reduce back-and-forth requests and streamlines your monthly processing. It’s particularly useful for clients who want a more “hands-off” experience.

Access Requirements

We require our own dedicated login to your internet banking platform – this should not be a shared or personal login. Our access will be managed and secured through Practice Protect, our enterprise-grade cybersecurity platform.

⚠️Important

Access should be set as non-transactional. This means we will not have the ability to approve or release payments – you will always remain in control and responsible for final authorisation.

Xero Payment Uploads (If Applicable)

If your workflow involves Xero payment file uploads, please also request a 6-digit Direct Entry User ID from your bank (this enables compatibility between your bank and Xero’s batch payment system). You can request this ID directly from your bank or relationship manager.

Next Step

Once you have arranged the required access:

  • Share login credentials with us through a secure platform (not email)
  • Provide the 6-digit Direct Entry User ID if using payment file uploads
  • Let us know once access is granted so we can test and confirm everything is working
